Collective Responsibility Is Bad...Except If You're White

Something you can never say enough of:

'Trump and all of his white, conservative, Christian supporters are to blame for the violence. 'Look at What Kind of Campaign He Ran!'

Something you can never say :

'Mohammed and all of his fellow followers of the Islamic faith are to blame for the violence: “Look at the violent kinds of campaigns of invasions, conquests, rape, enslavement, torture, murder, and genocide he conducted and his followers carry on in his name whilst screaming 'Allahu akbar!'

A Muslim commits a terrorist attack and the politicians and media rush to tell us:

1. 'Islam is a religion of peace.'

2. 'The attacker had perverted a great religion (even though he's a Muslim and 99.7% of them are not).'

3. 'The entire Islamic community is not responsible for the actions of one hateful or mentally-ill (usual go-to description in Europe), whose true motivations 'we may never know.'

4. 'We must control our anger and language. We must prosecute/imprison anyone who criticises those that believe as the attacker. We must spend more taxpayer money to open more 'See Something Mean Happen To A Muslim - Hear Something Mean Said To A Muslim - Say Something!' hotlines. We must 'invest' more of your money in Thought Police, 'I'll Ride With You' propaganda, and 'Wear A Hijab To Work Today (but leave your cross and yarmulke at home)' to show solidarity and improve community cohesion. We must stop monitoring the tens of thousands of possible Islamist terrorists and protect our Muslim communities from backlash.'

To quote Mark Steyn quoting Tim Blair quoting a commenter back in 2006:

I believe the old definition of a nanosecond was the gap between a New York traffic light changing to green and the first honk of a driver behind you. Today, the definition of a nanosecond is the gap between a western terrorist incident and the press release of a Muslim lobby group warning of an impending outbreak of Islamophobia. After the London Tube bombings, Angus Jung sent the Aussie pundit Tim Blair a note-perfect parody of the typical newspaper headline:
British Muslims Fear Repercussions Over Tomorrow’s Train Bombing.

5. Do and say everything to draw attention away from the fact that terrorist was a Muslim...or, at least, express regret that he was...

WaPo: Boston Marathon bombing suspects elude labels
Politico: The Boston Marathon bombing suspects’ geopolitical leanings are still largely a mystery
The Atlantic: The more we learn of Boston bombers the more they seem like bumblers. And there's the rub: any idiot can terrorize, doesn't require genius
Salon: Let’s hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American

The same applies to BLM.

A BLM protester executes two NYPD cops sitting in their patrol car...but don't blame BLM!!!

A BLM protester executes 5 unarmed Dallas police officers during a BLM protest...but don't blame BLM!!!

A BLM protester executes 3 Baton Rouge police officers during an ambush...but don't blame BLM!!!

*******************

The same applies to left-wing assassins, would-be killers, and rioters.

A self-described Socialist and Bernie Sanders supporter shoots and tries to kill a bunch of Republicans...but don't blame the Left!!!

A self-described Communist assassinates a President of the United States...but don't blame the Left. Blame the 'climate of hate in Dallas', the CIA, the Mafia...anything or anyone but the Left!!!

A group of self-described 'anti-fascists' and Communists destroy Seattle and Hamburg...but don't blame the Left!!!

A group of leftists plot to bomb the Republican National Convention and assassinate attendees...but don't blame the Left!!!

*******************

Now, a White Supremacist, who allegedly has a history of schizophrenia, has committed a heinous act of terrorism.  If you are white, conservative, Christian, etc, don't expect anything but collective blame and hate.

A White Supremacist, who worshiped Adolf Hitler, killed three people and injured dozens more...but make sure to blame the Right just as much, if not more!!!

Speaking of Mayor Michael Signer of Charlottesville, Virginia...

Wait until the Left finds out that the mayor wrote a book praising James Madison, who owned around 100 slaves, and defended the 3/5th Compromise.

I loathe Presentism, but the Left wants to hold every person in history to its current morals. If the COTUS was written by a 'bunch of old, white, slave-owning men' and should be relegated to the ashheap of history, then the Left should hold to account those Democrats that write about them and it in glowing terms.  If the Founders, Robt. E. Lee, etc, must fall, then so should Charlottesville, Virginia Mayor Michael Signer.

From Amazon:

Becoming Madison: The Extraordinary Origins of the Least Likely Founding Father by Michael Signer

In a time when America is desperately searching for leadership comes this inspiring story of James Madison's coming of age, providing incisive and original insight into the Founding Father who did the most but is known the least.
Michael Signer takes a fresh look at the life of our fourth president. His focus is on Madison before he turned thirty-six, the years in which he did his most enduring work: battling with Patrick Henry—the most charismatic politician in revolutionary America, whose political philosophy and ruthless tactics eerily foreshadowed those of today's Tea Party — over religious freedom; introducing his framework for a strong central government; becoming the intellectual godfather of the Constitution; and providing a crucial role at Virginia's convention to ratify the Constitution in 1788, when the nation's future hung in the balance.
Signer's young James Madison is a role model for the leaders so badly needed today: a man who overcame daunting personal issues (including crippling anxiety attacks) to battle an entrenched and vicious status quo. Michael Signer's brilliant analysis of “Madison's Method,” the means by which Madison systematically destroyed dangerous ideas and left in their stead an enduring and positive vision for the United States *, is wholly original and uniquely relevant today.

* James Madison is called 'The Father of the Constitution'. The TEA Party loved Madison and the COTUS. It demanded a return to the Constitution as the guiding principle and ruling (and controlling) document in the United States.  The 'dangerous ideas' that it opposed were the same that Madison did: The collective over the individual; security over liberty; the French Revolution over the American Revolution; a strong, centralised government in Washington over the rights of states, communities and individuals to govern themselves, etc.

In Signer's real world, individualism, free markets, unalienable rights, and self-governance are dangerous ideas whilst collectivism, socialism/communism, the state over the individual, and governance by an elite, technocratic, expert few, especially if unelected, unaccountable, and the final arbiters of what is 'true, correct, scientific, enlightened, moral, and fair' are safe ideas leading to peace and prosperity...except, of course, for those whose unwillingness to be reeducated means they must be denied peace, prosperity, life, liberty and/or the pursuit of happiness for the common good outweighs the rights of man.

'All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.'

- Benito Mussolini...and every other leftist.

A few years ago, J Christian Adams was visiting the nation’s preeminent voting right museum, The National Voting Rights Museum, which is located at the foot of the infamous Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. While there, he noticed:

‘Its outlook is neatly captured in ten words that begin its timeline display of the civil rights movement. There, we find a replica of John Trumball’s iconic depiction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with the caption, “1776. The Declaration of Independence signed by wealthy white men.”

The original civil rights giants would never have tolerated this historically false assertion. They were patriots, driven by love for their fellow countrymen and a burning desire to make America a better place for all its citizens. They repeatedly and vehemently rejected hatred. But the nasty caption captures the bitter spirit of much of the civil rights movement today and of numerous race-based activist groups around the country.’
